The 2011 Suzuki SX4 sees only minor trim changes. This subcompact car comes with front-wheel drive as a 4-door sedan and 4-door hatchback called the Sportback. An all-wheel-drive hatchback called the SX4 Crossover is also available. All use a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine.

Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which behaves like an automatic. Manual-transmission versions have 150 horsepower, while CVT-equipped SX4s have 148 horsepower. The SX4′s AWD system can be set in automatic mode, for front-drive only, or to lock in a 50/50 front-rear power split that works at speeds up to 36 mph. Trim levels for the sedan include Base, LE, LE Anniversary Edition, Sport S, Sport SE, and Sport GTS. Sportbacks and Crossovers come as the Base and Technology; there’s also a Crossover Premium. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front- and rear-side airbags. Sport sedan and Sportback models have a sport suspension. Technology versions have a navigation system with real-time traffic information. Crossover Technology models have heated front seats. Keyless access/engine start is no longer available.
